I was reading Sarah's blog and was very moved. Mostly because this is something that has been stirring in me since New Year's Eve. She talked about her one little word. I immediately knew that mine was appreciation.
We are so blessed. I look at my life and I am overwhelmed by the love of God for me. But in the midst of all the blessings in my life I do not want to become apathetic. Someone compared it to being the daughter of the President. Eventually, we become accustomed to the limos, secret service, maids, fancy dinners and all the perks that come with Daddy's job. But invite a friend over for the first time and their mouth drops in awe of all that you have. We are sons and daughters of the King of kings. We have blessing upon blessing in our lives. And sometimes we forget how awesome it is and take it as just one of the perks of our Daddy's job. I love being able to run into the presence of my Lord, my Daddy and tell him all my problems and needs and just be with him. But I don't want to miss what an awesome gift it is to be able to do just that. To get into his presence we must step through Christ's blood. So my little word is appreciation. I do not want to take all that God have done for me for granted.
What is your one little word?

Wow, I just figured that I would check out the "non-stamping" blog, too, and this is great! What a wonderful thing, I just read! Thank you for your insight.
